Tokyo Metro Co., Ltd (hereafter referred to as "Tokyo Metro"), which has been actively involved in e-sports, including the operation of Japan's first e-sports training gym and a sponsorship agreement with professional e-sports team REJECT, has announced the " 1st TOKYO METRO CUP STREETHTER 6" e-sports tournament! FIGHTER 6 " in March 2024! The online qualifying round and the final competition will be held in March 2024.

The "1st TOKYO METRO CUP STREET FIGHTER 6" announced by Tokyo Metro is a two-day e-sports tournament that will consist of a qualifying round and a final competition. A maximum of 128 students and 256 general players will be able to participate, and the finals will be held offline at the JCG Toyosu Studio in Koto-ku, Tokyo.
As the name of the competition suggests, the title of the event is CAPCOM's popular fighting game "Street Fighter 6." The top three students and thetop eight players in the general division who win the online preliminary round on March 3, 2024 (Sunday) will advance to the offline final on March 30, 2024 (Saturday). The top three winners in each division will also receive a gaming PC, gaming neck speaker, and other luxury prizes!

You can participate in the event if you are confident in your skills, or even if you just want to participate in a tournament! There is no entry fee! The finals will be streamed live on YouTube, with commentary by streamers Kokubunsan and Haitani.
