This time, " TOPPAN eSPORTS FESTIVAL 2021 ", an in-house e-sports event, was held as a new event to replace "TOPPAN SPORTS FESTIVAL" this year, which became difficult to hold due to the spread of the new type of coronavirus infection! The scale of the event was so large that it was hard to believe that it was an in-house event!

The Akihabara (Honsha) team lost the spearhead match, but won a close match in the general match.

An exhibition match before the semi-finals!

After the second round, there was an exhibition match between the Toppan Printing eSports Department E1 HEROES general manager and Shanghai Toppan, transcending national borders.
This exhibition match was realized because e-sports can be conducted online.

Actually, before the event, there was a Q&A session for the press, and saiganak.com asked the following question: "Since Toppan Printing has offices all over the world, we can hold e-sports events that can be held online, but only those based in Japan can participate this time. Are you planning to hold e-sports tournaments in the future in which people from overseas offices can participate? When I asked him, "It is difficult because of the problems of the connection and the corresponding regions, for example, the difficulty level between Europe and Japan, but as part of the challenge, we are planning to set up an exhibition match this time and have a match against the Shanghai base! We are planning to have an exhibition match against the Shanghai office as part of the challenge!

Before the interview, I was thinking, "Why is this online game only available in Japan? I thought it was a waste..." But I had no idea that the idea was already in the works, and that it would be realized as an exhibition match this time.

Let the semifinals begin!
