The " 2022 VALORANT Champions Tour" (hereinafter referred to as "VCT"), a tournament to determine the world champion of the hottest tactical FPS "VALORANT.
On June 25 and 26, 2022, " VCT Challengers Japan Stage 2" was held at Saitama Super Arena, and "NORTHEPTION" won the first place by 3-1 against "ZETA DIVISION", the previous world No.3, and the new champion was born. The birth of a new champion and the improvement of the overall skills of the Asian teams, including Japan, were very exciting.
Tickets were sold out on both days, and the total number of visitors to the event exceeded 26,000 over the two days, setting a record for the largest attendance in the history of e-sports in Japan.
In addition, the highest number of concurrent users on YouTube, Twitch, and official mirror feeds totaled over 500,000 ( Day 1: 210,000, Day 2: 290,000).
Now, the VCT is showing such great success, and a tournament for female e-sports players will be held!
A tournament to determine the female champion!
The " VALORANT CHAMPIONS TOUR GAME CHANGERS" is a program for female e-sports players who are active in VALORANT, a tournament that will expand the opportunities and stage for competitive activities through a new framework.
The tournament will be held in Berlin, Germany, from November 15 (Tuesday) to November 20 (Sunday), 2022, hosted by Riot Games, and will determine the first female world champion in a double-elimination format (a tournament in which players must lose twice to be eliminated)!
The tournament will also feature a total of 8 teams from North America, Brazil, Latin America, Europe, East Asia, and APAC.
Entries open on July 4! Each professional team is also recruiting members!
VCT GAME CHANGER JAPAN, which will determine the contestants from Japan, is now accepting entries from Monday, July 4, 2022 to Tuesday, July 19, 2022 at 23:59!
In conjunction with this, professional gaming teamssuch as " ZETA DIVISION ", the world's 3rd place winner at "VCT Masters Reykjavík" and " NORTHEPTION ", the winner of "VCT Challengers Japan Stage2", have also started accepting applications for female players! Please join us!
