EVO Japan 2025 presented by Levtech (hereafter, EVO Japan 2025), a fighting game festival that started on May 9, 2025 (Friday). We have interviewed the winner of the " THE KING OF FIGHTERS XV (KOFXV)" division, Falcons ET (@ET1120 ).
Interview with Falcons ET, winner of the KOFXV category!
- First of all, tell us frankly how you feel.
I'm very happy to have won EVO Japan two years in a row.
- Do you think EVO Japan is a good fit for you? Did you feel any difference from EVO Japan 2024?
The absence of Xiaohai made the pressure on me less (laughs).
- You won straight away without losing.
There were a few close calls in the qualifying rounds, but after that, I think I was able to win steadily.
- Why are you so strong?
I used to lose a lot. I think I have become what I am now through my past experiences. I think it is because I still watch videos and practice a lot.
- You have performed on many big stages. Do you get nervous on stage?
I do a little, but with a lot of experience, I don't get too nervous anymore.
- Do you have any comments on the fact that not many players use Clark?
I think each player has a different favorite character. I have the impression that Japanese players tend to use more stable characters, but I use Clark because I want to be a little adventurous (laughs).
- What does KOF mean to you?
I started playing KOF, made many friends, won a championship... KOF has changed my life.
- What is your next goal?
My next goal is to win a ticket to the Esports World Cup 2025 with "FATAL FURY: City of the Wolves"!
