Ryu and Chun-Li from "Street Fighter 6" are coming to Desktop Mate as DLC! Available starting November 12

" Desktop Mate," a desktop mascot platform compatible with Windows and Mac, has announced a collaboration with the fighting game " Street Fighter 6 " (hereinafter referred to as "SF6").
Ryu and Chun-Li will be released simultaneously as DLC on Desktop Mate on Thursday, November 12, 2026.

Ryu and Chun-Li, two of the series’ most iconic fighters from "SF6," are coming to your desktop.
Their appearances, supervised by Capcom, have been realistically recreated on Desktop Mate.

Each is priced at 2,200 yen (tax included).
Their respective Steam store pages are now live, and you can add them to your wishlist.

A Desktop Mate first! Perform a Hadouken on your window with "Move Actions"!

The biggest feature of this DLC is the " Move Action "—a first for Desktop Mate—that blows windows away.
With moves just like in the original game, instantly transform your desktop into Street Fighter 6!
Move Actions are available on both Windows and Mac versions.

Rapidly tap a character to activate their special move.
Ryu unleashes the "Hadouken," blasting windows hit by the energy blast in the direction he’s moving, while Chun-Li uses the "Spinning Bird Kick" to push windows forward as she advances.

If you tap the buttons even more rapidly, the move upgrades to “Super Arts Lv. 3.”
Ryu uses the “Shin Shoryuken,” and Chun-Li uses the “Soten Ranka” to spectacularly blow Window away.

Special moves occasionally transform into “OD (Overdrive) versions” shrouded in a golden aura.
They consume the Drive Gauge, and once it’s depleted, the character enters a “Burnout” state, shrouded in a gray aura. If you click while in this state, the character will collapse and become “ stunned.”
These unique visual effects exclusive to Desktop Mate are sure to delight Street Fighter 6 fans.
By the way, it seems that if you leave it like that for a while, the character will return to its original state.

Note that these special moves are triggered only when you rapidly click on a character; they won’t interfere with your work under normal circumstances.
Rest assured that even if the window is blown away, the data inside it won’t be affected.

"Ryu" Image

He strikes his familiar pose with his arms crossed and his headband fluttering in the wind, as well as showing himself taking a fighting stance to refocus his energy.
He also reveals a side of himself that never skips training, such as working hard on push-ups.

In the seated shots, there’s even a scene where he takes out some yokan and eats it.
He also looks quite the part perched daintily on a windowsill.

"Chun-Li" Image

She shows off her signature stances and poses, such as hopping up and down in joy.
In her standing poses, she raises her legs high, squats while holding a barbell, and works hard at her training.

In seated shots, you can also see her tidying up her appearance and spraying on perfume.

Multi-Character Feature

Using Desktop Mate’s “Multi-Character Feature,” you can display two characters on your desktop at the same time.

You can combine not only Ryu and Chun-Li, but also the default character "Aierutan" with other DLC characters.
You can adjust the size of each character to create a desktop that suits your taste.

Please note that the Multi-Character Feature is not currently supported on the Mac version (open beta).

Voice support is available in Japanese and English!

The voice lines use the in-game voices from "Street Fighter 6" and can be switched between Japanese and English.
When you activate a special move, you’ll hear familiar battle cries like "Hadoken!" and "Spinning Bird Kick!"
