Originally set to take place from June 9th to 11th in Los Angeles, one of the biggest gaming events in the world, E3 2020 has been cancelled.
Online Event is Still Possibility
As the tweet says, those running the event are cancelling E3 in order to keep fans, its employees, and developers safe and healthy. As the WHO released news that the Novel Coronavirus has in fact reached pandemic status , it seems like a good decision.
As a result of the event being cancelled, exhibitors and participants will have their money returned. E3 will be directly contacting those who have paid.
As for presentations, companies that were set to participate in E3 2020 are in the process of making arrangements to do their presentations online. Details can be found at E3's official website at a later time. You can also check there for the official announcement.
