DLC character Mr. Karate will join SNK CORPORATION's fighting game Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves (hereinafter "Fatal Fury: CotW") starting Wednesday, May 27, 2026.
Prior to this, a character trailer has been released.
Mr. Karate, the Strongest Man Wearing a Tengu Mask, Joins the Fight on May 27!
Mr. Karate first appeared as the final boss in Art of Fighting, which is also an SNK work.
The protagonist's father, Takuma Sakazaki, fought while wearing a tengu mask for certain reasons.
After that, the protagonist of Art of Fighting, Ryo Sakazaki, made a guest appearance in the Fatal Fury series as Mr. Karate II, which led to Mr. Karate joining the roster of Fatal Fury characters.
Since then, both Takuma and Ryo have sometimes appeared as Mr. Karate in other works such as THE KING OF FIGHTERS.
However, the true identity of Mr. Karate in Fatal Fury: CotW seems to be a different person, neither Takuma nor Ryo.
A mysterious martial artist in a tengu mask.
His name and visage evoke memories of a fearsome fighter who, long ago, sowed discord throughout South Town. And yet his strength and skill are all his own—a polished practitioner of the Kyokugen style whose sheer might surpasses current head Marco Rodrigues himself. The verdict among all who fall to the mask is brutally clear: what lies beneath is no mere man, but a true tiger unleashed.

ARCADE MODE and EOST MODE Added to Enjoy the Original Story of Mr. Karate!
In the RPG mode EOST MODE, a story unfolds where Mr. Karate, who has come to South Town, travels around the city with a certain person in search of talented individuals.
In addition, ARCADE MODE depicts Mr. Karate standing in front of the "hungry wolves" in pursuit of the secret techniques of a certain style.
Judging from the way Marco, a fellow practitioner of the Kyokugen style, turns pale, the true identity of Mr. Karate is indeed...?
