Nintendo announced the release date for the Nintendo Switch 2 software "Fire Emblem: Fortune's Weave" during "Nintendo Direct 6.9.2026 + Nintendo Treehouse."

The game takes place in the Dagdan Empire, a land at the height of its prosperity under the rule of the gods.
At its center lies Dagsion, host to the Heroic Games—a tournament where powerful contenders engage in fierce battles for a chance to grant any single wish.
The main characters are four warriors participating in the Heroic Games: Cai, Dietrich, Theodora, and Leda.
Players aim for victory alongside their allies while experiencing different stories depending on the warrior they choose.

Players can strengthen their allies during the preparation period before each match begins.
Travel freely between your base in Dagsion and the vast lands of the Dagdan Empire to raise your combat power through various activities.
- Training: Train with allies in a corner of the arena to improve skills and learn new techniques.
- Certification Exams: Passing these exams allows characters to change classes to a new soldier type.
- Recruiting: Scout warriors around the city to boost your reputation in matches, or invite them to meals to deepen relationships and secure their cooperation.
- World Map: Explore uncharted dungeons and battle demonic beasts for more practical experience.
Grasp Victory by Assessing the Shifting Battle Situation Each Turn
Matches require players to wear down opposing forces while alternating between player and enemy turns.
Assessing enemy characteristics and attacking with a tactical advantage is the key to victory.
Players can turn the tide of battle by unleashing "Blaze Arts," special techniques triggered by consuming HP.
The effects of Blaze Arts vary by protagonist, and more powerful techniques become available as the story progresses.
Premium "Dagdan Collection" Drops Same Day
Alongside the standard edition, Nintendo will release the "Fire Emblem: Fortune's Weave Dagdan Collection (Dagdan Collection)." This special edition bundles premium bonuses inside a storage box featuring newly drawn art.
