The Noto Peninsula in Ishikawa Prefecture suffered immense damage from the Noto Peninsula Earthquake that occurred on Monday, January 1, 2024.
While some residents are still living in evacuation centers, restoration work is progressing in various places.
It has been announced that a portion of the experiential aquarium, "Notojima Aquarium," located in Nanao City, Ishikawa Prefecture, is scheduled to reopen starting Saturday, July 20, 2024.
Pikachu also attended the press conference to show support, and a stamp rally will be held starting the same day, with the goal of bringing energy back to Noto with the help of Pokémon.
