Konami announced the release of "Suikoden I&II HD Remaster Gate Rune and Dunan Unification Wars" on Thursday, March 6, 2025, during the "Nintendo Direct Software Lineup + Indie World 2024.8.27" presentation.
In conjunction with the announcement, pre-orders for the PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and Steam versions began on Wednesday, August 28, 2024.

Suikoden I&II HD Remaster Gate Rune and Dunan Unification Wars, which was announced at "Tokyo Game Show 2022" in 2022 and whose release date was previously undetermined, has finally been announced for release on Thursday, March 6, 2025!
This title includes two games: Suikoden, released in 1995, and its sequel, Suikoden II, which depicts the story three years later.
Suikoden, which gained popularity as the first title in the original RPG series, will be revived with high-quality sound and visuals!

The 9-CD box set game soundtrack for Suikoden I&II HD Remaster Gate Rune and Dunan Unification Wars will be released on Thursday, March 6, 2025.
The background music, which further immerses you in that grand adventure, will be released in a massive 9-disc set.
The Suikoden II portion includes "War 2" and "Battlefield Without Light," which were not included in the old soundtrack CD, as well as Celtic arrangements from Orrizonte and the Arrangement Collection series, all remastered.
