Release of PlayStation Portal remote player and Audio Devices
The remote play device for PS5 has been officially named the PlayStation Portal remote player by Sony Interactive Entertainment. Additionally, they have announced the upcoming release of their first PlayStation-branded wireless earbuds, called PULSE Explore Wireless Earbuds.
PS5 Remote Exclusive Device: PlayStation Portal remote player
The PlayStation Portal remote player is now available as a device dedicated to PS5 remote play. Equipped with features like adaptive triggers and haptic feedback. The vibrant 8-inch screen can display images at 1080p resolution and 60fps. This allows for effortless enjoyment of games that are compatible with high-definition graphics.
You can quickly switch from playing on your PS5 to your PlayStation Portal. This is great for gamers who cannot utilize the living room television or just desire to play PS5 games in a different room of their home.
Note that games that require the PlayStation VR2 headset and cloud streaming services included in the PlayStation Plus Premium subscription are not supported.
The PlayStation Portal remote player will be released for 199.99 USD / 29,980 JPY in late 2023. More information on when pre-orders will begin for the PlayStation Portal will be provided shortly.

Pulse Explore wireless earbuds
Introducing the debut of the PULSE Explore Wireless Earbuds, the first to be released under the PlayStation brand. These earbuds feature a premium portable audio experience with dual microphones and AI-enhanced rejection capable of filtering background sounds. It also offers lossless audio and comes with a charging case.
Pulse Elite wireless headset
Introducing the PULSE Elite wireless headset, the newest wireless headset with a retractable boom mic. It has AI-enhanced noise rejection that can filter out background noise. The product comes with a charging hanger for convenient charging and storage.

The newly announced PULSE Explore and PULSE Elite will be the first PlayStation audio devices to feature custom-designed planar magnetic drivers. The PULSE Explore and PULSE Elite connect directly with PlayStation Portal remote player by leveraging this new wireless audio technology, PlayStation Link.
PlayStation Link delivers low latency, lossless audio and easy switching between multiple PlayStation Link hosts such as PS5 with the USB adapter and PlayStation Portal.
The PULSE Explore wireless earbuds will be available for 199.99 USD / 29,980 JPY, and the PULSE Elite Wireless Headset will be available for 149.99 USD / 18,980 JPY.
