First appearing in "Fatal Fury 2" (1992), Mai is a charming kunoichi known for her bright and lively personality.
She's deeply fond of Terry's brother, Andy Bogard, and travels to Metro City in search of him, only to face formidable opponents.

New Moves Designed to Spark Battle Creativity
This version of Mai features moves designed to inspire creative combat.
In Classic controls, all of Mai's special moves require specific command inputs.
Strategic "Kachousen"
"Kachousen" involves tossing a spinning fan forward.
The fan's speed and bounce height change based on the button strength and how long it's held, encouraging strategic variations to keep opponents guessing!
Powerful "Ryuuenbu"
"Ryuuenbu" is a move where Mai spins and sweeps forward in a flaming circular motion.
It's useful for combos and controlling distance on the ground.
"Hissatsu Shinobi Bachi" for Cornering
"Hissatsu Shinobi Bachi" involves Mai cartwheeling forward and striking the opponent with an elbow.
The travel distance changes depending on the button strength, making it ideal for cornering.
Mai's Anti-Air "Hishou Ryuuenjin"
"Hishou Ryuuenjin" serves as Mai's anti-air option.
She performs a flaming backflip and delivers a knee kick, which is also great for following up after a Ryuuenbu.
Unique "Musasabi no Mai"
This unique aerial move involves descending diagonally from mid-air for a body tackle.
It's useful for dodging projectiles and surprising opponents.
Level 1 Super Art: "Kagerou no Mai"
"Kagerou no Mai" engulfs the area in flames, effective for anti-air attacks and combo finishers.
Performing Kagerou no Mai grants 5 flame stocks.
Flame stocks can enhance special moves and Level 1 & 2 Super Arts with increased hits or damage.
Experiment with different Homura Stock effects when playing Mai!
Level 2 Super Art: "Cho Hissatsu Shinobi Bachi"
"Chou Hissatsu Shinobi Bachi" allows Mai to pass through projectiles while invincible and rush forward in flames.
There's also an "Air Cho Hissatsu Shinobi Bachi," perfect for following up special moves!
Level 3 Super Art: "Shiranui Ryuu: Enbu Ada Zakura"
"Shiranui Ryuu: Enbu Ada Zakura" features a special animation where she says, "Floating like a butterfly, stinging like a bee!"
This graceful yet powerful move inflicts significant damage.
