The latest update for Street Fighter 6 went live on Wednesday, June 26, 2024, bringing the first Year 2 additional character, Vega, into the fight and making him playable.
You can now also customize the sound settings for the Run-In feature.
Vega Joins Street Fighter 6!
The update released on Wednesday, June 26, 2024 introduces Vega, the very first Year 2 additional character.
He appears and is playable across all three modes: World Tour, Battle Hub, and Fighting Ground.
In World Tour, a new mission has been added where Vega appears as your Master.
Not only can you learn Vega’s techniques, but you can also deepen your bond with him through missions and gifts.
Additionally, any techniques or emotes you acquire can be used in the Battle Hub. Show off your favorite moves to other players!
And since Vega himself is playable in Fighting Ground, it’s a perfect chance to try out all kinds of fighting styles.
Vega’s Outfit 2, available for purchase at the same time as his release, features his classic Supreme Commander look from past titles—instantly recognizable for longtime fans.
You can also earn Outfit 2 by meeting specific conditions in World Tour, so be sure to give it a try!
New Options Added to Run-In Customization!
A new option has been added that lets you change the sound settings for the Run-In feature.
Not only can you use the sounds included in Street Fighter 6, but you can also select from six classic sounds from the previous Street Fighter series.
Customize the run-in effect when matchmaking and pursue your own personal style!
“Vega” Release Commemorative SNS Campaign!
To celebrate Vega’s debut, an SNS campaign is running from Wednesday, June 26, 2024 to Tuesday, July 9, 2024 at 1:00 PM.
Ten winners will be selected by lottery to receive an acrylic stand featuring Vega’s graffiti art.
