The MAXIMUS CUP is a recurring special event in Tetris 99, available exclusively to Nintendo Switch Online members.
For its 57th installment, the tournament will feature a collaboration with the newest entry in the acclaimed franchise released on Thursday, September 17, 2026, Fire Emblem: Fortune's Weave.
- Event Period: October 2, 2026 at 12:00 AM PT to October 5, 2026 at 11:59 PM PT
During the event, players earn event points according to their placement in Tetris 99 mode.
Accumulating a total of 100 points will unlock a special Fire Emblem: Fortune's Weave theme as a permanent reward.
- 1st Place: 100 points
- 2nd Place: 70 points
- 3rd Place: 50 points
- 4th–10th Place: 40 points
- 11th–30th Place: 30 points
- 31st–50th Place: 20 points
- 51st–90th Place: 10 points
- 91st–99th Place: 1 point
