Riot Games launched the open beta for the console version of the free-to-play tactical FPS VALORANT on Saturday, July 27, 2024.
The open beta is available in Japan, the United States, Canada, Europe, and Brazil.
About the "VALORANT" Console Version
The console version is played using a controller, instead of the traditional keyboard and mouse setup.
While there are no plans to implement cross-play between the PC and console versions, VALORANT players on PC, Xbox Series X|S, and PS5 can share their inventory and game progress by linking their VALORANT account.
Furthermore, balance adjustment patches, new Agents, maps, premium content, and additional live service features will be released simultaneously across all platforms, regardless of whether it is the PC or console version.
