Game Changers Pacific Reveals Teams, Matchups, and Ticket Information Ahead of October 1 Start

Riot Games Inc. has announced the participating teams, matchups, and ticket information for Game Changers Pacific, which will be held in Bangkok, Thailand, from Tuesday, October 1, 2024, to Sunday, October 6, 2024, JST.
At Game Changers Pacific, eight teams that have won their respective leagues across the APAC region will compete for a spot in the Game Changers Championship.

The VALORANT Game Changers is a new program focused on creating opportunities for players of all genders to thrive and gain recognition.

The eight teams from across the APAC region that have won their respective leagues and will be competing in Game Changers Pacific are as follows:

• Japan: ZETA DIVISION GC
• Japan: FENNEL HOTELAVA
• Korea: Mir Gaming GC
• Oceania: swaglord9000

Tournament Format

Game Changers Pacific will be held in two parts: the Group Stage and the Playoffs. The Group Stage will use a GSL format, with the top four teams advancing to the Playoffs. The Playoffs will use a single-elimination bracket, where teams will compete for two spots in the Game Changers Championship and a prize pool of $20,000 USD.
The participating teams have been split into two pools based on their past competitive results and the relative size of their respective Game Changers regional leagues, with measures in place to prevent teams from the same region from facing each other in the first round.

Tournament Schedule and Ticket Information

The tournament will be held for a total of six days, with the schedule as follows:

• Group Stage: Tuesday, October 1, 2024 - Friday, October 4, 2024
• Playoffs: Saturday, October 5, 2024 - Sunday, October 6, 2024

The matches will start at the following times:

• DAY 1-4: 2:00 PM JST
• DAY 5-6: 3:00 PM JST

The matches will be streamed on Twitch and the VALORANT // JAPAN YouTube official channel.

Furthermore, it is possible to attend Game Changers Pacific in person for free for all six days.
To do so, you must obtain a free ticket by searching for "Game Changers Pacific" on the Ticketmelon official website starting Saturday, September 14, 2024.
