Comment from Eiji Aonuma, Producer of The Legend of Zelda series, Nintendo Co.

I am very happy to announce that "The Legend of Zelda" will join the world of LEGO bricks, which have been tickling the creativity of many people, from children to adults. The first thing we wanted to do when expressing the world of "The Legend of Zelda" with LEGO bricks was to create the "Tree of Deku". With this unique device that matches the world of "The Legend of Zelda," you can build two different versions of the Deku Tree, one for "The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time" and the other for "The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. We hope you will enjoy the previously untouched world of "The Legend of Zelda" as much as we do.

Wes Talbott, Design Director, The LEGO Group

We have long had fans asking for a LEGO set based on "The Legend of Zelda," and I am delighted that Nintendo has cooperated with us to create this product. As a "Legend of Zelda" fan myself, it was a great experience for me to be able to incorporate details and elements from the game into the design. One of the attractions of the game is that we have given many Zelda fans the opportunity to choose between two versions of the game. We look forward to seeing the reaction from fans.
