Nintendo has announced that it will release the " Nintendo Switch 2 (Japanese Language / Japan Only) The Legend of Zelda 40th Anniversary Edition," featuring a special design to celebrate the 40th anniversary of " The Legend of Zelda," on Thursday, October 29, 2026!
A specially designed Nintendo Switch 2 Pro Controller and carrying case will also go on sale on the same day.

The "Nintendo Switch 2 (Japanese/Japan-Only) The Legend of Zelda 40th Anniversary Edition" is priced at 62,980 yen (tax included).
This special design features the Triforce motif on the back of the console, as well as on the Nintendo Switch 2 Dock and Joy-Con 2 controllers.
Please note that the game software is not included.
