Completely wireless earphones, such as Apple's "Air Pods" series and Sony's "WF-1000X" series, which are not connected to the left and right earphones by a cable, are becoming popular.
In the early days of their appearance, there were many comments such as "delay," "sound loss," "sound quality," "battery," and "I might lose it...," but nowadays, such comments have become almost unheard of. However, technology has evolved to a level where such stories are almost unheard of.
Once you have experienced the stress-free feeling of being free from cables, there is no going back to wired for everyday use!
Among the many manufacturers offering high sound quality and low latency wireless gaming earbuds, one of the most popular is the " Hammerhead True Wireless " from the long-established gaming company Razer.
Although it is a very popular item, it has been two years since its release in 2019, and during that time, technology has evolved at an incredible pace, so don't you think it is time for a new model?
Well, here it is, the long-awaited second generation for all of you! The Razer Hammerhead True Wireless 2nd Gen (2021) is now available in Japan!
Evolution for an even more immersive experience!
The "Razer Hammerhead True Wireless" 2nd Gen is the successor to the "Razer Hammerhead True Wireless" fully wireless earphones.
We'll show you the power upsides, but first, the most important aspect of a gaming device: the lighting!
The 2019 Razer Hammerhead True Wireless also had the Razer THS logo designed into the earbuds, but it did not light up.
The black color has the logo printed in green, so it doesn't look like it's glowing.
The 2nd Gen being released this time around features RGB lighting for the first time in the series!
As expected, the THS logo on the body of the earbuds glows, but what's more, it's not monochromatic, it's Razer Chroma-enabled!
As expected, the THS logo on the earbuds glows, but instead of a single color, it is Razer Chroma-enabled!
And it also features Active Noise Cancellation, which was not included in the previous generation.
Noise around you can be bothersome in various situations such as listening to music, playing games, and watching videos.
The onboard active noise canceling technology detects and removes the annoying ambient noise so you can concentrate on your enjoyment.
The highly acclaimed 60ms low-latency gaming mode of the Razer Hammerhead True Wireless is still present in the 2nd Gen.
Bluetooth connectivity, even fully wireless connectivity, can cause sound latency issues, but the "Razer Hammerhead True Wireless" will allow you to play music games with a level of comfort and ease.
The previous generation was half-canal type, but the 2nd Gen has changed to a canal type.
The new design is comfortable to wear and provides an in-ear fit and a high degree of noise isolation.
They come with three sizes of ear tips, so there's bound to be one that fits your ear perfectly!
There are so many more opportunities to interact online, such as online meetings with the Corona disaster.
However, have you ever experienced that the other party seems to have a hard time hearing you because they pick up your noise?
The 2nd Gen "Razer Hammerhead True Wireless" is equipped with dual ambient noise canceling microphones, so you don't have to worry about that!
The microphone detects, identifies, and eliminates unwanted ambient noise so that you can hear the other person clearly.
The Razer Audio app allows you to manage all settings at once.
From turning each function on and off to sound equalization, RGB lighting settings, and touch gesture assignments, you can easily and precisely configure your settings with a single app.
Especially, if you adjust the sound to your liking, it would not be an exaggeration to say that you can create your own earphones!
Release date and price
The Razer Hammerhead True Wireless 2nd Gen will be released in Japan on Friday, September 3, 2021! The MSRP will be 15,980 yen (including tax).
The 2nd Gen battery has evolved to a maximum of 6.5 hours for the earphones alone, and the case can be used to fully charge the earphones four times for 26 hours, for a total of 32.5 hours of use, approximately double the usage time of the previous generation.
A decade ago, fully wireless earbuds were not suitable for long-distance travel, as the batteries would run out quickly, but the "Razer Hammerhead True Wireless" 2nd Gen features active noise canceling, low latency, and a long battery life. With its low latency and ample continuous use time, this is a product that can be used on a daily basis and for long periods of time.
