A new Nintendo Switch Online service called "SUPER FAMICOM Nintendo Switch Online" was announced today.
SUPER FAMICOM Nintendo Switch Online" is a service that allows users to play Super Nintendo Entertainment System (SNES) titles on the Switch, with the initial 20 titles available from September 6!
(Additional titles will be added on an irregular basis).
The Super Famicom Controller for "SUPER FAMICOM Nintendo Switch Online" is now available for purchase!
The "Super Nintendo Entertainment System Controller" allows you to enjoy the same operating sensations as back in the day!
As you can see, the size and texture of the controller is exactly the same as the original Super Nintendo Entertainment System (SNES) controller of that time.
Just like the Super NES Controller!
Reprinted controllers make gamers nostalgic, but they may feel different, have extra printing, or have been modified to fit current consoles, but as you can see, it's exactly as it was back then!
Play wirelessly with the same feel as back then!
And while wireless is the norm today, the "Nintendo Classic Mini Super NES" had a wired controller that was both nostalgic and a bit inconvenient.
However, the "Super NES Controller" for the Switch is wireless!
I just said "recreated as it was back then", but this is a great specification.
Rechargeable via USB Type-C
And the Switch uses USB Type-C, and of course the Super NES Controller can be charged via Type-C!
I never thought the time would come when the Super Nintendo Entertainment System (SNES) controller can be charged via Type-C...
Compatible with both table mode and TV mode
As a matter of course, the game can be played in both table mode and TV mode.
Note that the buttons are different from those on the Joy-Con, so you cannot play any software other than "Super NES Nintendo Switch Online.
However, there are R2 and L2 buttons on the top of the controller, so maybe you can play games that are not affected...!
