Dragon Quest III: The Legend" was originally released on the Family Computer in 1988, and 36 years after its release, it has been reborn in an HD-2D version. The series' familiar turn-based command battles and job change system have been retained, but new professions and new content have been added.

The main character and his companions have " professions," which differ in the spells and special skills they can learn, the way their parameters grow, and the equipment they can wear. In addition to the " hero " occupation, only the hero can be a " hero"...
