Cave of Learning
Shortly after starting the game, you’ll reach the “Drifted Cemetery,” where you’ll find a hole leading underground. Descend through it to reach the tutorial map, “Cave of Learning”!
You won’t die if you jump down, so don’t be afraid to take the plunge.
In this cave, you can learn everything from basic controls to advanced combat techniques.
Once you’ve cleared the “Cave of Learning,” you’ll arrive at “Limgrave,” where the Golden Tree stands.
From here, you’re free to choose where to go in this vast world!
The ruins visible on the horizon, the massive castle towering in the distance—something might be waiting for you in all of them.
Also, when traveling long distances, summon your spirit steed “Trent” to move faster than you could by running.
When you encounter a powerful foe
In the “Land Between,” many powerful enemies await the player.
However, you don’t necessarily have to defeat every enemy you encounter to progress through your adventure.
For example, the “Tree Guard” that appears in Limgrave is a fairly tough opponent for the early stages of the game.
Since you’re free to choose the order in which you challenge enemies, it’s a good idea to avoid it at first and take it on once you’ve grown stronger.
Furthermore, combat isn’t limited to melee.
There are various styles, including ranged attacks with magic or a bow, stealth attacks where you lurk in the shadows to take down enemies, and combat while mounted on a horse.

Weapons and Combat Techniques
A wide variety of weapons and armor exist in this vast world.
- The Greatsword excels in the power of a single strike

Each weapon holds a special ability known as a “xml-ph-0001@deepl.internal.”
There is a wide variety of xml-ph-0001@deepl.internals, ranging from powerful attacks to temporary special effects—all offering abilities useful in various situations.
Since the number of uses is limited, save them for the crucial moments to gain the upper hand in battle.
Summoning Spirit Forms and Allied NPCs
In difficult areas and boss battles, you can team up with “Spirit Forms” summoned using the “ Spirit-Calling Bells ” you acquire along the way.
There are over 50 types of Spirit Forms to support you in battle!
Additionally, in the "Land Between," there are those who guide and lend a hand to the Faded.
Some of them will even fight alongside you, so when fighting alone proves difficult, turning to them for help is a good option.
