Sega released Yakuza Kiwami 3 & Dark Ties on Thursday, February 12, 2026.
This release includes two titles in one: Yakuza Kiwami 3, a remake of Like a Dragon 3 originally released in 2009, and Dark Ties, a new entry featuring a completely newly written story.
Additionally, downloadable content to further enjoy the game is now available.

Yakuza Kiwami 3 & Dark Ties was released on Thursday, February 12, 2026.
It is compatible with Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, and Steam.
Yakuza Kiwami 3 is a remake of Like a Dragon 3, originally released in 2009, updated with Kiwami quality.
The protagonist, Kazuma Kiryu, experiences a story and battles with increased intensity across Okinawa and Tokyo.
With added dramatic scenes and play spots full of replayability, it is a title that even those who played the original version can enjoy again.
In the other title, Dark Ties, the formidable foe who stood before Kiryu, Yoshitaka Mine, takes center stage as the protagonist.
This is a must-see story for fans, depicting how Mine, formerly the head of a venture company, entered the world of the yakuza.
Additional Characters and New Outfits! DLC Also Released Simultaneously
Various DLC packs are now on sale, including: sets that allow you to recruit popular series characters as allies in Bad Boy Dragon, additional outfits, sets to expand mobile phone customization, and CD sets that allow you to play popular karaoke songs from the series as background music.
The Deluxe Edition, which bundles the digital main game and DLC, is also available.

All three episodes of the live-action drama Like a Dragon: Powered by Nihontouitsu are now streaming on Amazon Japan Prime Video.
Produced by the team behind Nihontouitsu, a popular series depicting Japanese yakuza society, this drama portrays a story that leads into the events of Yakuza Kiwami 3 & Dark Ties.

Release Commemoration Campaign Now Live on Official X!
