I assembled Iris Oyama's 4K-compatible TV 55-inch "55UB10P" and introduced it to the meeting room!

Review

With the Corona disaster, more and more meetings are being held via the Web instead of face-to-face, and there are times when meetings overlap at the same time and there are not enough monitors available.
Funglr Games also had to deal with the problem of having to use monitors for meetings that overlapped with other meetings held daily on the web.
So, we decided to purchase a new monitor for the conference room, which originally had only a projector. So, we decided to purchase the "IRIS OHYAMA 4K LCD TV 55-inch 55UB10P"!

Let's open the package right away!

Here is what actually arrived!

Saiga NAK

It's huge!

The quintessence is 55" medium size.
Saiga NAK

I compared the size with a can of juice that was nearby.
It is about the size of 5 cans....

Saiga NAK

First, cut the PP band with a cutter.

Saiga NAK

And cut the tape.

Saiga NAK

Take the styrofoam.

Saiga NAK

It weighed about 13 kg, and I couldn't carry it by myself, so a helper came to the rescue.

Saiga NAK

Here is what is included in the package!
It comes with a remote control, power cord, AV input adapter, and of course, a TV stand.

The connection terminals you may be interested in are from the top.

  • LAN port
  • Headphone output
  • AV output
  • CS digital
  • Terrestrial digital
  • HDMI1
  • HDMI2
  • HDMI3 (ARC compatible)
  • USB2.0 terminal

Nice to see three HDMI jacks included!

Saiga NAK

Also, the other side is a power cord insertion port.

Saiga NAK

To mount the unit on a TV stand, attach the brackets to the back of the unit...

Saiga NAK

Screw it in tight so it won't come off!

Saiga NAK

Then attach it to the stand!

Saiga NAK

Finished!

Set up in the meeting room!

Saiga NAK

Move it to the meeting room.

Saiga NAK

The monitor (TV) is thin, but thanks to its thinness, the camera can be placed between the monitor and the camera.

Saiga NAK

Remote control that will be used frequently.
The remote control is about the size of two hands, so it is neither too small nor too large.

Saiga NAK

The back cover looks like this. I thought I would only have to remove the lid for the battery compartment, but it turns out that the lid covers the entire surface.

Installation is complete!

Assembly was not that difficult, and those who want a 4K-compatible large screen but are concerned about the price... don't worry.
The "55UB10P" is a 4K, 55-inch TV that costs only 75,800 yen (according to Amazon.co.jp).
The TV stand is also 8,999 yen, so the total cost is less than 100,000 yen!
We think this is a product we can recommend to those who are having trouble installing a large screen display in a conference room.

We used it at saiganak.com for meetings and were able to view slides and use video conferencing such as Meet, Teams, Skype, etc. without any problems.
However, whether or not it is suitable for use in games is a question that depends on the game title that requires response speed, so please be careful when purchasing.

You can find this one at the official Iris Ohyama online store, Amazon!
