The next-generation home video game console " PlayStation 5 ( PS5)" was launched in November 2020 with much anticipation.
Although it has been more than a year and a half since its release, PS5 is still not readily available, but the future looks bright as Sony announced in its Q1 FY2022 financial results briefing held on July 29, 2022 (Friday) that "PS5 hardware supply volume will increase in the second half of the year".
We have purchased the popular " PlayStation 5 cover " as an accessory for PS5, so let's take a look at the cover and try it on!

Fortunately, there was no problem in starting up the main unit, but it seemed that the cover had cracked.
The dirt on the cover is also becoming a bit noticeable, so maybe it's time to replace it... but I can't afford it...

So, I just bought a new "Cover for PlayStation 5"!
It's convenient to be able to replace the whole PS5 cover for such an occasion!

There are two versions, one for the standard edition and one for the digital edition, and each cover has a different shape, so be careful when you buy one.
By the way, the PS5 of the Saiga NAK editorial team is the standard edition with optical disk drive.
This time, I chose pink...not pink, but Nova Pink!
On the back of the cover, there is a hook to attach it to the main unit.
Following the enclosed instructions, first remove the top cover.
The instructions say to remove it by grabbing it near the PS mark and sliding it in the direction where the power cable connector is while pulling up the cover a little.
However, it is harder than I thought...
It was a little difficult because I did not know how much force to use, but I managed to remove it.
Next, the new cover is attached.
Align the convex part of the cover with the hole in the main unit, and push it in until it clicks into place.

Next, we will install the back cover.
In the same manner as the top cover, align the convex part of the cover with the hole positions and slide it in until it clicks....
Ta-da!
The cover has been successfully replaced!
I like the simple black and white design, but the bright two-tone color of Nova Pink and black also fits in well.
Maybe I can take this opportunity to unify even DualSense with Nova Pink!
