The world's largest computer trade show, "COMPUTEX TAIPEI (hereafter, COMPUTEX 2025)," was held in Taipei, Taiwan, from Tuesday, May 20, to Friday, May 23, 2025, local time.
Saiga NAK also provided on-site coverage at this exhibition, where the latest technologies from around the world gather!
This time, we're bringing you a look at the G.SKILL booth!
Smoke Billowing from PCs! The Impactful "OC World Cup"
G.SKILL, a PC-related manufacturer based in Taipei, holds an "OC World Cup" (Overclocking World Cup) every year.
Simply put, it's a competition to see how much performance can be squeezed out of a PC, and the "OC World Cup 2025" champion receives $10,000.
Overclockers with exceptional knowledge and experience gathered from all over the world, including Takahiro Shimizu (@Shimizu_OC) from Japan, known as the "Liquid Nitrogen Ojisan (Uncle Liquid Nitrogen)."
The stage area is extremely dangerous.
Large amounts of liquid nitrogen are used to cool the PCs.
Adjusting voltage and clock speeds, running benchmarks, and cooling...
The tournament was won by CENS from Germany.
He achieved his second consecutive victory, following "OC World Cup 2024."
Many luxurious memory modules, such as the "Trident Z5 Royal Neo" series and "Trident Z5 NeoX RGB," were also on display.
The opulent design is pretty impressive!

Even in Japan, where home consoles and mobile devices were previously dominant, gaming PCs have become popular recently.
There are various ways to acquire them, such as models sold by manufacturers, Build To Order (BTO) where some specifications can be customized, or building one from scratch yourself.
...However, it's probably extremely rare for someone to own a PC like this, isn't it?
The G.SKILL booth at COMPUTEX is well-known for annually showcasing many modded PCs.
So, without further ado, here's a collection of the unique PCs on display!
Speaking of companions for gaming, how about alcohol!
With this PC, you can keep your drinks right there...
...But that's not all!!
It surprisingly has a dispensing function.
It's got some force, so it gets a little foamy.
After the quirky ones, let's cleanse our palate with some relentlessly cool liquid-cooled PCs.
This one has a transparent display that makes a beautiful girl appear.
It's a modded PC by Japan's N's Factory Noguchi (@nissyan_daze).
A super Kawaii design themed after the popular afternoon tea!
Even the coolant is a pastel pink, showing great attention to detail.
The actual production process is available on YouTube.
There were also PCs inspired by a pyramid and a manta ray!
The steampunk feel from the gears is irresistible.
The huge PC, seemingly modeled after Gundam Barbatos that we just introduced, attracted the most attention from visitors.
The fans on the back are also cool.
Finally, there's this, which looks chillingly cold.
I'm not even sure if it's a PC anymore, but apparently...
- Memory: G.SKILL Trident Z5 DDR5
- CPU: Intel Core Ultra 9 285K
- Motherboard: ASUS ROG MAXIMUS Z890 APEX
are installed. It's got packed specs.
Looking at the back, it seems some tubes are connected.
Following them...?
Liquid nitrogen. It's you again.
