KADOKAWA Game Linkage, Inc. has announced " FAVCUP2023," an e-sports tournament by FAV gaming, a professional gaming team operated by KADOKAWA Game Linkage. The tournament will be held at Tokorozawa Sakura Town on December 29 (Fri.) and 30 (Sat.), 2023, with Street Fighter 6 as the competition title.

With Street Fighter 6 as the competition title, famous professional players and streamers from around the world will gather at Tokorozawa Sakura Town in Tokorozawa City, Saitama Prefecture, for FAVCUP2023. The world's best fighters will be competing in the event.
The event will be broadcast live on YouTube and Nico Nico Live, and offline spectating is also available. Tickets for offline spectators will go on sale at 6 p.m. on Saturday, October 21, 2023.

Day 1: SF6 SINGLE OPEN TOURNAMENT
Individual double-elimination tournament for players invited from Japan and overseas. From Japan, Umehara, sako and Tokido will compete. From overseas, AngryBird, MenaRD, and two other players will join the tournament.
The winners of the preliminary tournaments will also be able to participate in the finals, so you may be able to witness an unexpected upset.
Day 2: SF6 WORLD 3on3 BATTLE
A regional team competition for 3 players per team, divided by region. The teams are made up of super strong players such as Oil King, winner of EVO Japan 2023, and AngryBird, winner of EVO 2023.

- Asian Team: Oil King, Xian, NL
- EU/Middle East Team: AngryBird, BigBird, Phenom
- Japan Team: Umehara, Tokido, sako
At the end of the year, the Str6 tournament will be held in Tokorozawa!
