Fennel Corporation, the operator of the professional e-sports team FENNEL, has announced the second annual " FFL Corporate Competition Ver.APEX LEGENDS ", an e-sports corporate competition using the free-to-play battle royale game " Apex Legends ". What is "FFL Corporate Competition Ver. APEX LEGENDS"?
The "FFL Corporate Tournament Ver. APEX LEGENDS" is an online tournament hosted by FENNEL to determine the top Apex player who belongs to a company. The first tournament was held in April 2022, and despite it being the first time for a corporate tournament to be held, 48 teams from companies and local governments across the country participated.
This year's tournament, the second to be held in Japan, will have divisions that are open to beginners, and the number of participating companies has been raised to unlimited. In addition, in order to create a battle between teams of competing strengths, the competition will be divided into two divisions according to strength (highest rank attained), with qualifying rounds and the main competition held in each division. The top 20 teams from the preliminary round will be able to participate in the main tournament, and all matches will be streamed on the official FFL channel, just as in the professional tournament.
Entries are due by Wednesday, January 11, 2023.
The deadline for entry to the tournament is 23:59 on Wednesday, January 11, 2023, and the condition for participation is that three members from the same company, regardless of department or employment status, must participate.
