As part of a collaborative initiative with “Vietnam Festa in Kanagawa 2026,” Kanagawa Prefecture will host the esports event “Kanagawa Esports Exchange Plaza” on Sunday, September 13, 2026.
The event will feature hands-on experience booths for games such as “Taiko no Tatsujin: Don-Dafuru Festival” and “Hiyoko POP,” as well as mini-tournaments.

Here’s a look at the activities taking place at the “Kanagawa eSports Exchange Plaza”!
Esports Mini-Tournaments
We’ll be holding e-sports mini-tournaments open to everyone.
Each session is limited to the first 10 participants (tentative), and participants will receive great prizes!
- Times: Starting at 1:30 PM / 2:45 PM / 4:00 PM
- How to Participate: Numbered tickets will be distributed at the registration desk starting one hour before each session begins
The tournament MC will be Kaori Horiuchi ( @Kaori_Kaotan ), a native of Kanagawa Prefecture.
She is a talent and caster who works as an MC and interpreter for gaming events, as well as a streamer!
Leveraging her language skills—including English—she is expanding her career as an MC for international esports tournaments.
Esports Experience Booth
Experience booths featuring game titles that anyone can enjoy —regardless of age, nationality, or esports experience—will be open.
The “Flex Controller,” a game controller that doesn’t require complex controls, will also be available for use.

- Game Titles: “Taiko no Tatsujin: Don-Dful Festival,” “Hiyoko POP,” “Sun-Coro Bingo”
One of the titles available for trial, “Dice Bingo,” is a bingo game played using a dice-shaped controller developed by Kanagawa Institute of Technology.
Combine the numbers on the three dice to form mathematical equations that match the numbers on your bingo card, and aim to get bingo before your opponent.
