The 2023 League of Legends World Championship ("Worlds 2023"), a world championship of League of Legends ("LoL") developed and operated by Riot Games, Inc. The tournament will be held in Korea on Tuesday, October 10, 2023! Professional teams from nine leagues around the world will battle it out for the world's number one spot!
Worlds 2023 starts today!
The League of Legends World Championship is the world's premier eSports tournament held every year at this time. Twenty-two teams from nine leagues in China, Korea, Europe, North America, Southeast Asia, Vietnam, Brazil, Japan, and Latin America will come together to compete for the number one spot in the world.

This year's event will be held in South Korea.
Worlds 2023 will be held in the e-sports powerhouse of South Korea. The qualifying stages will be held at "LoL Park" and "KBS Arena" in Seoul, the quarterfinals and semifinals at "Sajik Indoor Gymnasium" in Busan, and the finals at "Gocheok SkyDome" in Seoul. The finals will be held at the Gocheok Skydome in Seoul.
The tournament will run from Wednesday, October 10 to Sunday, November 19, 2023. All matches, including Japan's DFM match, will be broadcast live on AfreecaTV, Twitch, and YouTube. The first game for Japan and DFM will be held on Tuesday, October 11 at 4:00 p.m!
DFM, the winner of the LJL, Japan's domestic league, will compete in the Play-Intage, which will start on Tuesday, October 10, 2023. First, they will play CFO, the representative of the Southeast Asian League (PCS), on Tuesday, October 11, 2023, at 4:00 PM. There is no time difference between Japan and Korea, so the game will not be played late at night or early in the morning.
