Riot Games, creator of "League of Legends" and other games with a large global following, has announced the "Mid-Season Streaming Marathon", an international streaming marathon event aimed at COVID-19 relief.
The event will take place from Saturday, May 30, 2020 at 9:00 am to Sunday, June 1, 2020 at 12:00 pm Japan time.
The event will be broadcast continuously during this period and will include "League of Legends" matches and exhibition matches between leagues from different regions.

The "Mid-Season Streaming Marathon" is an international event that brings together e-sports players, fans, and special guests from around the world online to raise funds for the COVID-19 relief non-profit network through a streaming marathon. This is an international event.
The event will run for over 48 hours and will feature Brazilian influencers "YoDa" and "Kami" against each other, top teams from China and Korea competing for the Mid-Season Cup, and professional players and influencers from Japan. Professional players and influencers from Japan are also scheduled to compete.
Donations raised during the event will be distributed through the Riot Games Social Impact Fund to organizations that support frontline healthcare workers and professionals, as well as COVID-19 infection prevention and awareness programs.
Riat Games has previously donated $4.5 million to the fund.
