Square Enix announced it will host the SQUARE ENIX POP UP STORE at the Daimaru Shinsaibashi and Daimaru Tokyo stores to celebrate the 25th anniversary of Final Fantasy X.
The Daimaru Shinsaibashi location opens on Friday, July 3, 2026, followed by the Daimaru Tokyo location on Friday, July 17, 2026.

To celebrate Final Fantasy X reaching its 25th anniversary on Sunday, July 19, 2026, the SQUARE ENIX POP UP STORE is opening at the Daimaru Shinsaibashi and Daimaru Tokyo stores.
Alongside item sales, the venues will feature displays including a wall design showcasing 25th-anniversary art and chibi illustration mini panels.
Square Enix will also host a novelty gift campaign in collaboration with the pop-up store, FINAL FANTASY X 25th ANNIVERSARY × DAIMARU MATSUZAKAYA COLLECTION, a joint project with Daimaru Matsuzakaya Department Stores.

Square Enix Will Also Host a Novelty Gift Campaign in Collaboration with the Daimaru Matsuzakaya Department Store Pop-Up Store
The pop-up store, "FINAL FANTASY X 25th ANNIVERSARY × DAIMARU MATSUZAKAYA COLLECTION," held in collaboration with Daimaru Matsuzakaya Department Stores, will run concurrently.
It features apparel, accessories, and other items reimagined around the transience and beauty of Final Fantasy X.
Square Enix will also run a campaign rewarding customers who bring their receipt to the other venue after purchasing items from either the SQUARE ENIX POP UP STORE or the FINAL FANTASY X 25th ANNIVERSARY × DAIMARU MATSUZAKAYA COLLECTION with special bonuses based on their purchase amount.
During the first phase, customers will randomly receive one rubber coaster (8 designs total) for every 6,600 yen (including tax) spent. During the second phase, they will randomly receive one cup marker (8 designs total) for every 3,300 yen (including tax) spent.
