D3 Publisher's booth will feature " Shikaku appears again on the square earth? Digibox Earth Defense Forces 2" ( hereafter "Digibox 2") was strongly pushed, giving a strong impression of the world of Digibox. The "voxel art" display, which looked like three-dimensional dots, stood out prominently, and the entire booth, including the booth's shape and novelties, strongly impressed visitors with the "Digibox 2" impression. The booth also featured an objet d'art of the "Decalantula," a giant creature that appears in "Digibox 2," and a corner where visitors could experience how many steps they could make before the Decalantula attacked them. The last part of the event was a spectacular display of white smoke, not acid threads, billowing out of the Decalantula's buttocks, which may have attracted not only fans of the Earth Defense Forces series but also those who were intrigued by the impact of its appearance.

It looks just like the land soldiers from EDF 1 and EDF 2. Although they are supposed to be soldiers who protect the earth, we are very curious about their position in the game and why they are transformed into giants. The character also appeared in a mission that could be played at the booth, but unfortunately the mystery was not revealed in the mission, so we are eagerly waiting for the full version to be revealed. The game is scheduled for release in 2024. Check out the official Digibox 2 website and follow the official X (@EDF_OFFICIAL ) for more information.

D3 Publisher Booth Report!

I was very much looking forward to seeing the new "Digibox Earth Defense Forces 2" and "Custom Mech Wars," and I have to say that I had a lot more fun than I expected. The volume of new information presented was also very large, and I was reminded of D3 Publisher's great potential and ability to move people's hearts and minds. At a large game event like TGS, it is the play test corner that tends to attract the most attention, but this year's stage events were also very rich in content and plentiful. Among the many stage events, the one that I personally recommend to see the most is the special stage called "Ed-0: Zombie Uprising," which was held on Day 2. The stage featured a slide presentation of "Ed-0: Zombie Uprising," a game created by D3 Publisher in all seriousness, and an open critique session by three celebrities active on the frontlines of the game industry. The stage was a must-see for those who have never been involved in game development, as it was easy to understand and yet the panelists were blunt in their criticisms. The stage event was archived on D3Publisher's YouTube channel, so be sure to check it out.
