Game Freak Booth Report! Stepping Inside the Meticulously Recreated Hare Onna Clubroom
Game Freak is best known for the Pokémon series.
This marks the company's very first time exhibiting at Tokyo Game Show, where it showcased its recently announced new mobile game, Ame nochi Hare Onna.
At the booth entrance, visitors were greeted by the protagonist Hare Onna Himawari Harewatari's partner Kumorin, Pon Arai.
Amazingly, we could chat with her in real time.
We were surprised when she even noticed the camera we were holding...!
Stepping into the booth, you find yourself inside the clubroom of Tensei Jogakuen's Hare Onna Club.
The clubroom was filled with countless items related to the Hare Onna Club's activities.
The attention to detail was remarkable, including handwritten notices posted by the Hare Onna members...!
The world of Ame nochi Hare Onna was meticulously crafted down to the smallest detail.
On the balcony at the back of the clubroom, the Hare Onna members' outfits were hanging out to dry.
By visiting the booth, attendees received giveaways including the Game Freak REBOOT fanzine, a Rurubu Special Edition: Ame nochi Hare Onna booklet, and stickers.
In particular, the fanzine represents the true origins of Game Freak and inspired the company's name.
It even featured behind-the-scenes insights such as the development schedule.
Outside the booth, the Machine Sentakki—a vehicle combining a mini truck with a washing machine—was on display.
This mysterious vehicle still holds many secrets, leaving us wondering how it will fit into the story...?
Ame nochi Hare Onna is currently accepting pre-registrations and is scheduled to release in Winter 2026.
We eagerly look forward to the day we can finally play the game.
