AFTER 6 LEAGUE " is one of the most popular e-sports events in Japan, where corporate teams compete against each other in heated battles.
Unlike other events, the "AFTER 6 LEAGUE" has the restriction that only " corporate teams " can participate, so each team has its own unique characteristics and is very interesting.
The "AFTER 6 LEAGUE" has held many events under the theme of " working people x e-sports," but we have decided to hold an event with another restriction on "corporate teams.
A competition among Tokyo Metro subway lines will be held!
An online competition to determine the strongest subway line in Tokyo!
This time, Tokyo Metro will be hosting the "Working Men's Challengers Cup - PUBG MOBILE Tokyo Metro Companies Battle - Powered by AFTER 6 LEAGUE".
The online tournament will be held on Saturday, August 28, 2021.
This is a tournament using " PUBG MOBILE," a very popular battle royale game for smartphones in which teams of 4 to 5 players participate. There is one more point to this tournament.
This tournament is an " Inter-company competition among companies along the Tokyo Metro line"!
Each of the nine Tokyo Metro lines, Ginza Line, Marunouchi Line, Hibiya Line, Tozai Line, Chiyoda Line, Yurakucho Line, Hanzomon Line, Namboku Line, and Fukutoshin Line The contestants must work for a company or store that has an office or base of operations at a station along the line. The unique participation format of the contest is that each of the contestants is a member of that line.
In addition, only regular, semi-regular, and contract employees of the company or store are eligible to participate.
Part-time employees are not allowed to compete, so you can't just hire someone to work part-time temporarily! Interesting!
The number of companies to be entered is expected to be 6 for each line, for a total of 54 companies.
On the day of the event, companies that enter the competition will be assigned to teams for each line, and then grouped according to the year the line was opened.
Group A is for the Ginza, Marunouchi, and Hibiya lines. Group B: Tozai Line, Chiyoda Line, and Yurakucho Line. Group C consists of the Hanzomon Line, Namboku Line, and Fukutoshin Line.
The top 6 teams from each group will advance to the final stage, where a total of 18 teams will compete to determine the strongest Tokyo Metro line and the strongest company.
