The Stage Timetable for FUKUOKA Game Creators Next Is Now Available!
FUKUOKA Game Creators Next is an event aimed at nurturing next-generation game creators, taking place at the Fukuoka City Science Museum on Friday, March 20, 2026.
The timetable for the stage events, which include talk shows by special guests, dialogues, and game contests, has been announced as follows:
- 10:00 AM: Doors Open
- 11:00 AM – 11:50 AM: Shinya Arino of Yoiko (@arimorokoshi415) Special Talk Show
- 1:00 PM – 1:50 PM: "Jobs of Game Creators" Explanatory Seminar by Bandai Namco Studios
- 3:00 PM – 4:00 PM: The 19th Fukuoka Game Contest "GFF AWARD 2026"
- 4:15 PM – 5:45 PM: Special Game Dialogue
- 6:00 PM: "GFF AWARD 2026" Award Ceremony
Hiroyuki (@hirox246), Naoki Yoshida of Square Enix, and Akihiro Hino of Level-5 (@AkihiroHino) will participate in the Special Game Dialogue.
Admission is free, and the event will be held at the 6th Floor Science Hall.
The Four Finalist Nominees for the Game Contest GFF AWARD 2026 Have Been Decided
At the 19th Fukuoka Game Contest GFF AWARD 2026, award-winning works and the Grand Prize for each category collected from across the country will be announced and honored.
In 2026, Naoki Yoshida from Square Enix will participate as a guest judge.
The following four titles are the finalist nominees for the Game Software Category:
Habatake! Chibi Dora Grand Prix
- Production: Waku Waku Paradise (Hokkaido Information University)
Utsushiyo: Onmyo no Kagami to Hiyo no Miko
- Production: Sairaku (HAL Osaka)
Kirisomezanka
- Production: Wabisabi Kobo (HAL Osaka)
Battlog
- Production: Battlog Production Team (Nagoya Kogakuin College)
These four titles can be played at the Fukuoka Game Industry Promotion Agency Booth at the venue.

Cygames and Others to Exhibit Corporate Booths! Many Local Fukuoka Companies Also Present
Game and entertainment-related companies such as Cygames, CyberAgent, and THIRDWAVE will exhibit booths. At the booths, they plan to offer content to deepen industry understanding, including:
- Demos of popular titles
- Employment and portfolio consultations for students in Fukuoka
- Exhibitions of game-related equipment
These will be held at the 6th Floor Science Hall, so don't miss out.
Many booths from local Fukuoka game companies will also appear. These booths allow you to fully experience the charm of "Game City Fukuoka" through development titles originating from Fukuoka and the sale of original goods. The exhibiting companies are as follows:

These will be held at the 5th Floor Open Lab.
