The "Alliance of Valiant Arms" operations team has announced that it will discontinue service for the PC online FPS " Alliance of Valiant Arms " on Wednesday, October 28, 2026.
In conjunction with the service termination, a schedule leading up to the end of service—including the discontinuation of in-game purchases—has been released.
Additionally, a new title set in the same universe, "AVA RE:BIRTH," is scheduled for release in the fall of 2026.
The end of service has been announced for "Alliance of Valiant Arms," Japan’s No. 1 online FPS.
" Alliance of Valiant Arms " (hereinafter referred to as "AVA") is a free-to-play online FPS that officially launched in South Korea in 2007 and in Japan in December 2008.
It once enjoyed such high popularity that it was touted as "Japan’s No. 1 online FPS," and numerous official tournaments were held.
Even today, among players active in other FPS titles and those who have transitioned to successful careers as streamers, there are quite a few who started out in AVA.
It is a title that has contributed significantly to the esports industry.
It was announced that AVA will end serviceon Wednesday, October 28, 2026.
Given its enduring popularity even at the time of the announcement, the news of the service ending sparked an outpouring of sadness on social media and elsewhere.
It has been approximately 18 years since the service launched.
