Canadian game developer Behaviour Interactive Inc. has announced that a new chapter of its multiplayer horror game " Dead by Daylight " titled " Dead by Daylight: Jason " a new chapter of the multiplayer horror game "Dead by Daylight" scheduled for release on Wednesday, June 17, 2026. Prior to the release, a public test build (PTB) will begin on Steam on Wednesday, May 27, 2026 at 0:00.

A new chapter "DbD: Jason" will be released! Jason's unique special abilities will be revealed and test play information will be provided.

DbD has brought together various characters from the world of horror in the "Foggy Forest". For its 10th anniversary in 2026, Jason will be coming to the city to mark a major milestone. Jason's stealthy and brutal style of play, in which he " approaches silently and takes you by surprise, " will bring about a spine-chilling and terrifying experience.

Since the release of DbD in 2016, Jason's participation has been highly anticipated. The development team has been hoping for a collaboration, and now we are finally working with Horror, Inc, the company behind the Jason Universe. The long-awaited Jason collaboration, "DbD: Jason," is now available!

The 10th anniversary chapter has to be something truly special. When the feasibility of this collaboration became apparent, we knew that the 10th anniversary was the perfect time. With so many dedicated horror fans in our community, welcoming Jason to the Foggy Forest is exactly the way we envisioned celebrating our 10th anniversary. Our fans have been asking for Jason to appear in the Foggy Forest ever since the release of "Dead by Daylight". We are delighted to be able to make this special 10th anniversary even more meaningful. The new killer of DbD! Jason's unique special abilities are now available!

DbD: Jason, the new killer of DbD, has two special abilities.

Omnipresent Evil

The first is Jason's stealthy ability to appear in unexpected places and catch survivors by surprise, an ability that embodies his stealthy nature. When activated, Jason disappears from the map and his movement speed increases. While out of sight, Jason can predict a survivor's movements based on footprints and other information, allowing him to more efficiently hunt down his opponents.

In addition, Jason can suddenly reappear from invisibility, destroying obstacles in his path. In addition to the tension of suddenly losing sight of the killer, the survivor must also face the fear of a vicious jumpscare waiting beyond the obstacle.

Brutal and inventive physical attacks.

The second ability expresses Jason's unique brutality and originality, as he uses items in his surroundings to finish off the survivor. When Jason appears in a match, containers filled with locker fragments, broken generator parts, shattered pallets, hooks, and other items appear throughout the map. Jason can pick these up and throw them with tremendous force.

Hitting an item can stagger a survivor, and if an injured survivor is attacked by a wall, he or she will be held in place and left helpless and unable to move until Jason finishes him off.

The "Jason Collection" is now available to coincide with the release of the latest chapters! The collection includes a variety of Jason-themed coordinates, from classic looks that respect the original to unique interpretations unique to Foggy Forest.

• Unredeemable Death: A horrifying transformation as his flesh decomposes and his bones are exposed. He holds a shovel in his hand.


• Fear in the Depths: Wears a flannel shirt and suspenders instead of a jacket and a heavy axe as his weapon of choice


• Abyss of Despair: Covered in barnacles, coral, and seaweed, he appears to have risen from the depths of the sea.
