Behaviour Interactive Inc. announced that a collaboration chapter with the Terrifier film series is coming to the asymmetrical multiplayer horror game Dead by Daylight.
Additionally, the PTB (Public Test Build) will begin on Steam starting Thursday, October 29, 2026, at 11:00 AM ET.
Dead by Daylight Collaboration Chapter With the Terrifier Film Series Arrives!
From the Terrifier film series—known for its extreme violence and shocking scenes—Art the Clown and Sienna Shaw join the fray!
They bring fresh terror to Dead by Daylight's diverse roster of characters.
Killer: Art the Clown
Countless Killers from classic horror films of the 1980s and 1990s have appeared in Dead by Daylight.
Now, as an iconic modern slasher, the serial killer resurrected from the brink of death by demonic power—Art the Clown—finally enters the Fog!
Using Art the Clown's special ability, Bag of Toys, he pulls random weapons from his trash bag, including a flail, a flamethrower, a pistol, and a jar of acid.
Additionally, each successful hit increases the lethality of his weapons.
Each weapon also features its own dedicated Mini-Mori, showcasing his sadistic creativity.
The unique Perks for the Killer, Art the Clown, are as follows:
- Funny Business: Damaging a generator grants a temporary movement speed boost alongside a random effect. You will have to try it out to see what happens!
- Kill Spree: A Perk that lets you cap off the end of a match with a massacre. Once all generators are repaired and all Survivors have reached the second hook stage, it unlocks the ability to kill Survivors by your own hand.
- Laughingstock: Inflicts the Exhausted and Oblivious status effects on Survivors near a completed generator.
Furthermore, to recreate Art the Clown's comical expressions in-game, Killer emotes make their series debut exclusively for Art.
Watching him point and laugh at a hooked Survivor is sure to strike terror into Survivors' hearts!
Survivor: Sienna Shaw
Sienna Shaw, a young woman whose life has been upended by tragedy, also joins the Fog alongside Art the Clown.
Having overcome countless horrors, her quick wits and determination will be pushed to the absolute limit in The Entity's trials.
The unique Perks for the Survivor, Sienna Shaw, are as follows:
- Best Gift Ever: Placing your held item on the ground grants a powerful ability.
- Shared Trauma: Taking a Protection Hit for another Survivor allows all Survivors within 12 meters to recover from the Exhausted status effect while running.
- Valkyrie's Rage: Stunning the Killer with a Pallet while being chased inflicts a stronger stun effect than usual.
Eerie New Map: The Hartshorne Mall
Inspired by liminal spaces, the original map The Hartshorne Mall—dotted with eerie storefronts and corridors—also arrives!
Once a bustling shopping mall filled with families, the location has been warped by The Entity's power, transforming into a sinister otherworldly space while retaining traces of its former self.
Players can also discover intriguing clues connected to the popular Survivor Dwight Fairfield!
The Public Test Build (PTB) for Dead by Daylight: Terrifier will be playable for a limited time on Steam starting Thursday, October 29, 2026, at 11:00 AM ET.
