IzanagiGames, Inc., in collaboration with MyDearest Inc., released the demo version of "DYSCHRONIA: Chronos Alternate" (hereafter Dyschronia: CA), the Steam version of Dyschronia: CA Dual Edition, on Wednesday, January 24, 2024.
The demo version allows players to experience approximately the first two hours of the story.
What is DYSCHRONIA: Chronos Alternate?
Dyschronia: CA is a VR/Non-VR investigation action adventure game where players pursue a crime committed in an idyllic city where crimes are supposedly impossible to occur.
Illustrator LAM (@ramdayo1122) handled the character design, while Hoshimachi Suisei (@suisei_hosimati) from hololive performs the series theme song, and YuNi (@_YuNiofficial_) performs the episode theme song.
Set in the far future in the marine city, Astrum Close, which boasts a 0.001% crime rate, players become Special Supervisor Hal Scion to investigate a crime that took place in a paradise city where crimes are absolutely not supposed to happen.
By fully utilizing a special ability to dive into the memories of owners of objects touched with the left hand, uncover mysteries hidden within all locations and people, overcome sudden threats with quick wits, explore the mystery-filled city, and solve the truth behind the incident.
Dyschronia: CA Dual Edition Demo Version Released!
The Steam demo version of Dyschronia: CA Dual Edition became available on Wednesday, January 24, 2024.
In the free Steam demo, players can experience roughly the first two hours of the story, and save data from the demo can be transferred over to the full retail version.
Furthermore, players can select either VR mode or Non-VR mode, and the game will save progress regardless of which mode is played.
Containing all three episodes and playable in both VR and Non-VR modes, Dyschronia: CA Dual Edition will be released in 2024.
