Raiatto Games announces the start of Season 2023 of the popular MOBA "League of Legends" ( "LoL")! The new environment will begin with ranked matches and a pro season!
Season 2023 of LoL is about to begin!
Raiatto Games has released a video about LoL's Season 2023. The video explains the ASU ( Art & Sustainability Update) for Arli and the CGU (Comprehensive Gameplay Update) for Olarion Sol, as well as the new ch ampions and new rank system.
ASU for Arli
The ASU for the popular champion "Arli" will be released soon! She will be available soon with new models, skins, VFX, and splash art. The new model, skin, VFX, and splash art will take you to the battlefield, and of course, the nine tails are just as cute as ever.
Olarion Sol's CGU
Olarion Sol's skill set is getting a CGU makeover! As the creator of the stars, Olarion Sol had very unique skills, but now he will be able to create black holes and drop stars on the ground.
Although in the game, Olarion Sol has been scaled to fit the size of champions, it is a life form of cosmic proportions that can hold a star in its hands. The CGU will allow us to witness its overwhelming power.
New Champions "Milio" and "Nafiri
In recent years, LoL's development team has set a goal in champion creation to "build a diverse pool of champions for each role, catering to players of all cultures, genders, and skill levels.
Milio, the new champion from Ishtar, is a male enchanter. He can also heal wounds with fire. We remember that in November 2020, there was an outcry when we posted that there had not been a male enchanter released for 10 years.
Durkin's new champion, Nafiri, is a female midlane assassin. It is designed to test the skill of the user with a simple and clear skill set. The video emphasizes the keywords " multiple bodies" and "flock," so I wonder if she can call her friends...?
New skins!
As of January 2023, LoL has 162 champions implemented. Skins," which change the appearance of champions and the skills they use, are released periodically to support the operation of the free-to-play game service, but it is inevitable that new skins will be released for popular champions due to sales. For those minor champions who have been pushed to the side of the pack, we have some good news!
The minor champions "Callista", "Olarion Sol", "Ivarne", and "Credo", who have not received new skins for almost 2 years, are guaranteed to receive new skins in 2023! New skin themes will include "Fairyland" and the popular "Wannyan Showdown" skin series!
The first event of the New Year will start with patch 13.1!
The first event of the New Year will bring the Moon Gods and mythical creators to Summoner's Rift. On Wednesday, January 11, 2023 Japan time, Patch 13.1, and on Wednesday, January 25, 2023, Patch 13.2, new skins will be...

New System Interim Rank Reset
LoL's ranked season was divided into three splits a year, with easy rewards in each, and rank borders and rank skins distributed as rank rewards at the end of the year. In 2023, the rank season will be divided into two splits, with ranks reset between splits. This is a measure to encourage users to continue playing ranked tournaments, and rank rewards will be available for each! That means rank rewards will be doubled!
In addition, rank reward skins, which have been distributed to players who have reached Gold rank or higher, will be available in 2023 to those who have played a certain number of rank battles, even if they are Silver or lower rank. The number of matches required to earn the rank reward skins is not known, but many of the rank reward skins are very elaborate, so light players will be happy to know that they can now earn them if they have the love for LoL.
