The latest trailer for the team-based Marvel fighting game, MARVEL Tōkon: Fighting Souls, is out!
Developers announced Phoenix Cyclops as the first post-launch downloadable character.
At the same time, they also revealed the game's official opening movie.
New Playable Character, "Phoenix Cyclops," Confirmed for the Roster!
Phoenix Cyclops will join the fight as the first DLC character included in the Year 1 Character & Stage Pass!
Cyclops, the iconic leader of the X-MEN, appears imbued with the power of the Phoenix Force, based on his design from the comic, Avengers vs. X-Men.
He enters the battle in a new form powered by blazing cosmic energy.
Reflecting the conflict from the Avengers vs. X-Men arc, his pre-battle dialogue and interactions with existing heroes bring a grittier tone to the game.
Phoenix Cyclops is scheduled to arrive in Fall 2026.
The developers haven't shared details about his playstyle yet, so stay tuned for future updates.
Official Opening Movie for "MARVEL Tōkon: Fighting Souls" Released!
With the release of MARVEL Tōkon: Fighting Souls right around the corner, developers have finally dropped its official opening movie! Blending the feel of a fighting game with the vibe of a 2000s anime intro, this masterpiece features an all-star production team, including the following:

The team also confirmed the Wolverine costume, Wolverine Battle Reborn Suit, inspired by Marvel's Wolverine!
