Pokémon World Championships 2023 (Pokémon WCS 2023), a global Pokémon Battle Tournament, will take place over three days from August 11 to 13, 2023.
With less than a month to go before the first event in Japan, a variety of events are already taking place in and around Yokohama.
To promote Pokémon WCS 2023, an animated trailer Challenge the World! set in Yokohama, Japan, is now available!

The animated trailer Challenge the World! was released to promote Pokémon WCS 2023.
Comics Wave Film, an animation studio known for such films as Your Name(君の名は。) and Suzume(すずめの戸締まり), produced the trailer, which is full of Yokohama's unique features.
In the background is the Ferris wheel of the Yokohama Cosmo World, with a Yokohama Chinatown's steamed meat bun in her hand.
This may be an anchor object in Yokohama Rinko Park.
You can also see the Yokohama Bay Bridge in the background.
The Pokémon WCS 2023 will take place at Pacifico Yokohama.
