The Pokémon Company announced that the previously revealed Pokémon Center Kagawa will open on Friday, October 24, 2025.
Commemorative merchandise and various campaigns will be held to celebrate the grand opening.
Pokémon Center Kagawa to Open on October 24!
The first Pokémon Center in the Shikoku region, Pokémon Center Kagawa, is set to open on Friday, October 24, 2025!
It will open in Marugame-machi Green in Takamatsu City, Kagawa Prefecture, where a relaxed Pikachu and a Slowpoke will greet you at the entrance.
The interior will be a lively and spacious area, and it will also feature the first Pokémon Card Station in Shikoku.
Various events will be held to commemorate the opening.
Commemorative Merchandise to Be Released!
Merchandise commemorating the opening of Pokémon Center Kagawa will be available starting on Friday, October 24, 2025.
This includes a Pikachu plush holding udon, an olive oil bottle based on Smoliv, and other apparel and goods.
There will also be local-themed merchandise, such as an udon bowl and glass with a relaxed Slowpoke design and a soy sauce dispenser based on Horsea.
The Sanuki Andon Lantern and Marugame Bamboo Fan, which are handcrafted by local artisans from vibrant red Japanese paper, feature a large depiction of Slowpoke's face.
While the merchandise will be sold at Pokémon Center Kagawa and the Pokémon Center Online, some items will be exclusive to Pokémon Center Kagawa, and others will be sold at Pokémon Centers nationwide.

Pre-Opening Preview to Be Held!
A pre-opening preview will be held on Thursday, October 23, 2025, the day before the grand opening.
Attendees will be able to explore the store and purchase commemorative merchandise ahead of time.
100 pairs will be invited via a lottery, and applications were accepted from Friday, September 19, 2025, to Tuesday, September 23, 2025.

Get a Special Slowpoke to Commemorate the Opening!
To celebrate the opening of Pokémon Center Kagawa, you can get a serial code for a special Slowpoke in a Cherish Ball that can be received in Pokémon LEGENDS Z-A.
In addition, you can get a Pokémon Center Kagawa Opening Commemoration medal in the smartphone version of Pokémon HOME.
You can receive the serial code and medal by imitating Slowpoke's cry, "Yaaan," to a staff member at any Pokémon Center in Japan.
The campaign period is from Friday, October 24, 2025, to Sunday, November 30, 2025.
Campaigns to Be Held at Pokémon Centers Nationwide!
Sticker giveaways on rainy days and a mini-attraction called Slowpoke's Fishing will be held at Pokémon Centers nationwide from Friday, October 24, 2025, to Sunday, November 30, 2025.
Additionally, at Pokémon Center Kagawa, there will be an event where you can meet Pikachu and Slowpoke.
