"Street Fighter 6" was chosen as a main title at "EVO Japan 2025," a fighting game festival held from Friday, May 9 to Sunday, May 11, 2025.
"Year 2" began with the participation of M. Bison, and then "Terry" and "Mai" were announced as additional characters, with Terry joining in September 2024.
He became a hot topic as the first guest character in the Street Fighter series.

A teaser trailer for Mai, an additional character for "Street Fighter 6" Year 2, was released on Friday, December 6, 2024.
The released teaser trailer depicts scenes from the World Tour, revealing a new area.
In this teaser trailer, Mai's visual was revealed for the first time. Her fighting style, manipulating flames with a large fan as her weapon and moving gracefully, remains faithfully recreated in this title.
Her special move, "Hishou Ryuuenjin," also soars high into the sky, overwhelming approaching enemies.
She will join as a playable character in "Fighting Ground" and is also scheduled to appear in the new "World Tour" area, "Aokigahara."

"Mai" to Join Early 2025!
Along with the release of the teaser trailer, it was announced that Mai is scheduled to join in early 2025.
