The 45th installment of this event, a collaboration with "Donkey Kong Returns HD"—which was released on Thursday, January 16, 2025—will be held starting Friday, February 14, 2025, at 4:00 PM (JST).
45th Tet-1 Cup "Donkey Kong Returns HD Collaboration Festival!"
The "Tet-1 Cup" is a regular event for "Tetris 99," and this 45th installment will be a collaboration event with "Donkey Kong Returns HD," titled "Donkey Kong Returns HD Collaboration Festival!"
It will be held from Friday, February 14, 2025, at 4:00 PM (JST) to Tuesday, February 18, 2025, at 3:59 PM (JST). As with previous Tet-1 Cups, you can obtain a special event theme by meeting certain conditions!
The "Donkey Kong Returns HD" event special theme can be obtained by collecting a total of 100 event points during the event period.
Event points can be earned based on your rank in "Tetris 99" mode as follows, so aim for a high rank!
- 1st place: 100 points
- 2nd place: 70 points
- 3rd place: 50 points
- 4th-10th place: 40 points
- 11th-30th place: 30 points
- 31st-50th place: 20 points
- 51st-90th place: 10 points
- 91st-99th place: 1 point

From Wednesday, January 29, 2025, to Monday, February 24, 2025, a 7-day trial ticket for "Nintendo Switch Online" is being distributed for free through the My Nintendo Point Program.
