Nintendo Switch successor to be announced by the end of this quarter

The Nintendo Switch (development codename: NX) was announced in March 2015 as the successor to the Wii U. Since its release in 2017, it has been followed by "Mario Kart 8 Deluxe," "Atsumare Animal Crossing&quot and "Super Smash Bros. SPECIAL" since its release in 2017.

As for game consoles, after about five years have passed since their release, people are gradually asking, "What about the next generation consoles? or "What about the enhanced specs version? With this announcement, the existence of a successor has been officially acknowledged. The announcement is expected to be made within this fiscal year, so it will be some time before the product is released, but we are glad to hear it rather than being swayed by baseless rumors. Players are already spreading their expectations for "a new Smash Bros. game," "Splatoon 4," and more, so stay tuned for more news.

The company also announced that a Nintendo Direct will be held in June 2024 to announce the lineup of Nintendo Switch titles for the second half of 2024. Although it has been stated that the successor console will not be announced there, the announcement of everyone's favorite "Nindai" is also making social media more and more excited.
