In conjunction with the release of "Donkey Kong Returns HD" on Thursday, January 16, 2025, it was announced that the first Ichiban Kuji (a lottery-style prize game) for "Donkey Kong" will be released sequentially starting Friday, January 17, 2025.

The Ichiban Kuji, where you're guaranteed to win a prize, costs 700 yen (tax included) per try. Participating stores include Lawson, bookstores, hobby shops, select arcades, and Nintendo TOKYO/OSAKA/KYOTO.

Some Lawson Stores to Feature Special Decorations and Sticker Giveaways
The Lawson Hotel Keihan Universal Tower store in Osaka Prefecture will have special decorations from Thursday, January 16, 2025, to Wednesday, February 12, 2025, coinciding with the release date of "Donkey Kong Returns HD."
During this period, customers who purchase eligible products at the Lawson Hotel Keihan Universal Tower store and perform a "GPS Check-in" using the smartphone app "My Nintendo" will receive an original design sticker at the register.
