Sony Interactive Entertainment has announced that the "FlexStrike Wireless Fight Stick," the first fighting game controller for PlayStation®, will be available to the public at EVO 2025, which will be held from August 1 to 3, 2025.

"Project Defiant," the first wireless fighting game controller designed by Sony Interactive Entertainment, will be officially named "FlexStrike Wireless Fight Stick" has been announced.
Simultaneous connection with PlayStation Link audio devices!
The "FlexStrike Wireless Fight Stick" comes with the latest PlayStation Link USB adapter that supports the USB-C port. When connected to your PS5, you can connect the controller and either the PULSE Elite wireless headset or the PULSE Explore wireless earphones at the same time.
This allows the user to enjoy game sounds and voice chat with ultra-low latency while playing the game. It will eliminate the stress caused by latency even during a heated match.
Two "FlexStrike Wireless Fight Sticks" connected at the same time!
In addition, two "FlexStrike Wireless Fight Sticks" can be connected via a single PS Link USB adapter. This allows you to enjoy local gameplay and cooperative play, and if you have a PS5, you can easily hold real-life competitions.
Ergonomically Designed for Ease of Use and Durability
For fighting gamers, controllers' operability and durability are a concern. This product features a unique ergonomic design with a surface designed at an angle for easy operation and a non-slip bottom panel.
It also features a custom-designed, high-quality digital stick. They are also more durable, so they can withstand intense fighting game controller handling.
Simultaneous connection with DualSense wireless controllers is possible!
PS5 allows you to connect a DualSense wireless controller at the same time as the FlexStrike wireless fight stick. This allows the controller to be used as an additional controller for menu operations in between fights, so you will not be confused by the difference between fighting and menu operations.
Operation settings can be customized!
It supports the same game control inputs as existing DualSense wireless controllers, including the touchpad. The directional keys are controlled by a lever, and there is no mute button.
Additional customization options include a built-in lever mode switch to change directional inputs, and a dedicated lock switch to lock the layout to prevent accidental inputs during a match. This allows you to concentrate on your game without worrying about typing mistakes.
Once the "FlexStrike Wireless Fight Stick" is paired with the PS5, the PS5 can be turned on by simply pressing the PS button, making it easy to start the game.
A convenient "sling carry case" is also included!
The FlexStrike Wireless Fight Stick is compatible with PlayStation 5 and PC and uses PlayStation Link, an ultra-low latency wireless technology that allows for wireless connectivity. The "FlexStrike Wireless Fight Stick" will also come with a sling carry case that can hold the device and has a lever gap to protect the digital stick. The first public showing of the game will take place at EVO 2025 (Evolution Championship Series 2025), a global fighting game tournament to be held in Las Vegas, U.S.A., from August 1 (Friday) to August 3 (Sunday), 2025 (local time). The event will be held at the Fight Stick Museum and the Arc System Museum. Visitors to the Fight Stick Museum and Arc System Works booths will be able to see the console and the sling carry case that comes with it. Don't miss it when you visit the event.
