SNK Corporation announced during Nintendo Direct 6.18.2024 that it would launch METAL SLUG ATTACK RELOADED on Wednesday, June 19, 2024.
It is currently available on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, and Steam.
"METAL SLUG ATTACK RELOADED" Launches on June 19!
The popular smartphone application "METAL SLUG ATTACK," which was released in 2016 and reached 25 million downloads worldwide, has been adapted for consoles.
In this title, the "ANOTHER STORY" mode, which features game balance adjustments and post-release stories for characters from the smartphone app version, has been updated with new scenarios for each affiliated army.
Additionally, three new songs have been added, and in the "GALLERY" mode, character illustrations from the main game can be viewed in high resolution.
The graphics, rendered in 2D pixel art with smooth motion, backgrounds, and effects, are also noteworthy.
Over 300 Characters Appear
While retaining the "METAL SLUG" worldview, a massive base-to-base battle unfolds, dividing the conflict into five factions, including the Regular Army, the Rebel Army, and the Space Army.
Controls are simple, yet the battle system is highly strategic.
This title features over 300 characters, so strengthen your favorite characters and build your own deck.
New Character Mostro Appears!
The new original character Mostro appears in this title.
Pay attention to the abilities of Mostro, an extraterrestrial life form created by Rootmars in a human-like form.
"MATCHING BATTLE" Appears, Allowing You to Fight Against Players Worldwide!
In addition to "ROOM BATTLE," where you can enjoy online battles with specific players, this title features "MATCHING BATTLE," which allows you to fight against players worldwide.
In "MATCHING BATTLE," you can earn titles based on your battle achievements. Win more battles to acquire the highest title, "Super Devil."
